TIP: Skip the Florist

After pestering my florist for peonies once a week for the last 4 weeks, they finally said, “Try Schaeffers!” And hung up on me.
Schaeffers is the mother of all garden centers, and it’s 8 minutes away from me. Hooray! Which is a great tip - looking for roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, peonies, pansies, clematis, calla lilies, hibiscus… go to the garden center! They’re healthier, more bountiful, more “real” looking and cheaper. Plus, the help is way friendlier.
