FUN STUFF: Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School

OK, what happens when you have performers as models, costumes, contests, and cocktails?  Why, who can remember??  Good thing there’s evidence in the sketchbook.

So, why would you want to do cabaret life drawing?  Well, let’s see….  Other than the obvious question, “why WOULDN’T you want to?”…  I think we can all agree there’s something magical about figure drawing in general.  But when you have belly dancers, vaudeville performers, contortionists and other rare beauties strutting under stage lights, with music, with wine, and with an enthusiastic MC cheering you on….  It’s a spectacle.  I love a good spectacle.  ;-)  And there are contests and goodies.  And there’s wine!  (Oh, maybe I mentioned that already.)
