My mother in law said this to me after I announced that I won an award for a drawing that I did…
“Well that must be pretty exciting to be recognized for just a hobby. I mean you don’t actually pursue this seriously, do you?”
That sad part is that no one in my life thinks that I pursue it seriously even though I’ve told them that I do. It hurts…you know?
